philosophy is by no means something i am well-versed in. i tend not to dwell on it. thinking like that hurts my head. i think i was watching "dollhouse" when one of the characters said "every action has a reaction." i don't know if there is an ounce of truth behind that, but it seems to make sense. you hit someone and they hit you back, right? who knows.
on both a larger and a smaller scale, i guess that's where ideas like butterfly effect come from. a small action like a butterfly flapping its wings in north america causes a much larger action like a tsunami slamming some coast line halfway around the world.
and karma? i've never really believed in it. not really sure about that whole "what goes around comes around" (JT shout out WOOT WOOOOT!!!) thing.
i've been listening to the shins a lot lately.
